It started out as a simple motorcycle powered buggy, but then Chris has bigger plans....4x4 anyone?
Chris has laid an old 1980's model 4x4 Suzuki Samauri to death & is currently resurrecting it as a 4x4 Sabretooth off-road beast.
Hailing from Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada, Chris Poirier along with help from his father, have been busy building this one-of-a-kind marauder. All of the major truck components will be utilized including the front & rear live axles, engine, rad, tranny, coil-overs, everything!
Basically, Chris has disected the old 4x4 & is rebuilding it under the chassis of the Sabretooth which he built several months back from plans he purchased from Badland Buggy.
He still has quite a task ahead of him but I, for one, can't wait to see this puppy in action!
Who else dares to be this different?
Chris needs a challanger - who out there has the guts to build a 4x4 Sabretooth based on a Jeep? Or using a motorcycle engine? |
